New way of describing the day

All primary and secondary schools are closed in Singapore today due to the haze condition worsening to a hazardous level.

C’s Speech therapy lesson is still going on as per normal. C and I were in the car by the traffic junction when he suddenly commented,

Mummy, it’s a hazy sunny day.

I thought it was quite funny and replied, “Yes C, it’s hazy and sunny right? It’s so dusty too. Remember to put on your ducky later”.

(I call the mask ducky which will intrigue him to wear it.)

To all other parents in Singapore, do take care, put on our duckys and drink more water. Lastly, let’s find the joy with our kids even in hazy moments. 🙂

It's a hazy sunny day!
