How can we not have something minion?

Since the launch of Despicable Me 2, C has been crazy about anything minions. Which kid isn’t? I’m pretty sure there are some adults fanatics out there too…

We made this a while back using the recipe from this link. It’s by Rosanna of Nerdy Mummies. I like her videos a lot as they are often simple to follow and her recipes’ designs are stealers of kid’s hearts.

I didn’t manage to get a lot of photos because I was on a constant lookout at C in case he was to spill the dry ingredients or wet ingredients. I also decided not to use the piping bag and decoration tips like Rosanna as I thought C would make a mess of the bag and all. Thus I bought the icing and writing gel instead. It cost about S$12 in total with the Loffel Biscuits.

This is S$2.50 from Candy Empire.

For the rest of the recipe and directions, you can view it from Nerdy Mummies’ video from the link above.

Reflection

C enjoyed the drawing process as well as waiting for the cupcake to be baked. He assisted me with the mixing of the wet and dry ingredients, and did not fear the electronic whisk as much as he used to. Although my cupcake did not rise, he still ate the final product with joy. We shared it with the family and thankfully, there wasn’t any feedback of tummy ache the following day.
